Wally Treats

OK, so I am starting off my blog with a well loved recipe at my house. By Wally. My dog. He's got a picky palate--mostly because of his allergies, so I have decided to make his treats rather than purchase them. Here's the first (and very successful!) attempt.

Ingredients:

2 cups of flour
1 cup of rolled oats
1/3 of a cup of peanutbutter
(more if you REALLY love your dog!)
1 1/4 cups of hot water

Preparation Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees (F). Combine dry ingredients. Add peanut butter and hot water and stir. Knead mixture until a ball forms. Roll dough out to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut out cookies using dog themed cutters. Bake at 350 degrees (F) for 35-40 minutes. Cool completely and let your dog enjoy. Store in airtight container for up to 3 weeks or freeze for up to 6 months.

Did somebody say "Treats?!"

This recipe came from Pinterest, originally. There was no author given--just a picture with the recipe! If anyone know the original author, let me know and I will give credit where credit is due!
